  I used Carl for hardscaping and landscaping at my house on Lake Martin. He did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him. I've been a homeowner for 25 years and he is definitely one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. I originally got 3 bids for hardscaping (flagstone patio, path, sprinkler system, pergola). His quote was the best price and I got a very good vibe talking with him, so I went with him despite that one bad review. This is a second home for me, so I wasn't there to oversee everything. Whenever he had any questions or hit an unexpected snag, Carl would facetime me so that I could see exactly what was going on and we could work through it together. I was so happy with his work that I twice expanded the scope of the job to include a substantial amount of landscaping. He had great vision in terms of what to put where and was easy to work with. As an engineer, I'm very detail oriented. With Carl I was comfortable agreeing to 'broad strokes' and trusting him to handle the details, and on multiple fronts his work exceeded my expectations. If I ever have more landscaping to do I would use him in a heartbeat. The attached photos show the patio he flagstoned and the pergola he built on it (picture taken prior to staining it), portions of the flagstone paths he created for me, and a view of some of the landscaping.

  Four Seasons Irrigation & Landscape produced a landscape plan that we are delighted with and which incorporates all the things we wanted to achieve in our new garden. We are just now completing the building of the house and can't wait to see the garden brought to fruition.
